Founding Principles.  Bishop, Capitano & Moss is a business law firm that was founded on the principle of providing high quality legal representation that is client-centered, intellectually innovative and solution-oriented.

Quality Lawyers.  The academic achievements of our lawyers compare favorably with the finest law firms in the region.  In addition, our lawyers have experience working for Charlotte’s largest and most prestigious firms.  Our background gives us the ability to be aggressive in providing our clients with smart solutions to their legal matters.

Client Centered.  Our clients are clients of the firm, not of any individual lawyer.  In furtherance of that goal, our firm does not compensate its lawyers based on billable hours or origination credits.  As a result, there is no financial incentive for lawyers to keep particular matters where a client would be better served by having another lawyer in the firm handle it.  Instead, we try to make sure that every matter is handled by the lawyer with the appropriate level of experience. 

Fair Bills.  Because of our size and relatively low overhead, we are able to provide superior legal representation at an effective rate that is lower than that of our larger competitors.  For example, we do not charge clients for non-volume photocopies, faxing, long-distance telephone calls, secretarial time or standard postage.  In the few instances in which we do pass expenses through to our clients, we, unlike most firms, pass through the expenses at the actual cost to our firm.

Community Involvement.  Our firm is also committed to providing an environment where its lawyers can be involved in their families and in public service.  Our lawyers have been or are currently serving as trustees, directors, officers or in other leadership capacities of numerous organizations.
