Joseph W. Moss, Jr.


J. Daniel Bishop.  Mr. Bishop was born in Charlotte, North Carolina.  He was admitted to the North Carolina bar in 1990.  Mr. Bishop attended the University of North Carolina where he received his B.S., with highest distinction in 1986, and his J.D., with high honors, in 1990.  While an undergraduate, he was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa and Beta Gamma Sigma.  In law school, he was a member of Order of the Coif and North Carolina Law Review.  Mr. Bishop is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association and the Mecklenburg County Bar Association, where he served on the Executive Committee from 1994-97 and the Fee Arbitration Committee from 1995-98.  Mr. Bishop previously practiced with the Charlotte law firm of Robinson, Bradshaw & Hinson, P.A.  His practice areas include commercial litigation, shareholder disputes, partnership law, employment law, construction law and securities litigation.  His direct dial phone number is 704.716.1202; his email address is dbishop@bcandm.com.

A. Todd Capitano.  Mr. Capitano was born in Atlanta, Georgia.  He was admitted to the North Carolina bar in 1994.  Mr. Capitano received his B.A., with honors, in 1989 from the University of North Carolina where he was a John Motley Morehead Scholar.  Mr. Capitano also attended the University of North Carolina for law school and received his J.D., with high honors, in 1994.  In law school, he was a member of Order of the Coif and North Carolina Law Review.  He is a member of the Mecklenburg County and North Carolina Bar Associations.  Mr. Capitano previously practiced with the Charlotte law firm of Robinson, Bradshaw & Hinson, P.A.  He practices in commercial litigation, shareholder disputes, partnership law, employment law and construction law.  His direct dial phone number is 704.716.1203; his email address is tcapitano@bcandm.com.

Joseph A. Davies.  Mr. Davies was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Mr. Davies was admitted to the North Carolina bar in 2007, after being admitted in Pennsylvania in 2003 (currently inactive) and the District of Columbia in 2004. He received his B.A., magna cum laude, in 2000 from the University of Richmond where he was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa.  He earned his J.D., with honors, in 2003 from the Duke University School of Law. While in law school, Mr. Davies served as Executive Editor of the Alaska Law Review.  Mr. Davies is a member of the Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, and District of Columbia Bar Associations. Mr. Davies previously practiced law in the Washington, D.C. office of Dow Lohnes, PLLC. He practices in all types of civil litigation including complex commercial litigation, employment law, construction law, and shareholder disputes. Joseph W. Moss, Jr.  Mr. Moss was born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.  He was admitted to both the North Carolina and South Carolina bars in 1993.  Mr. Moss received his B.A. in 1988 from Davidson College where he was a member of Omicron Delta Epsilon.  He received his J.D., cum laude, from Wake Forest University in 1993.  In law school, Mr. Moss was the managing editor of Wake Forest Law Review.  Immediately following law school, Mr. Moss served as law clerk to Honorable N. Carlton Tilley, Jr., U.S. District Judge for the Middle District of North Carolina.  He is a member of the Mecklenburg County Bar, the North Carolina Bar Association and the American Bar Association.  Mr. Moss is a member of the ABA Forum on the Construction Industry and the ABA Construction Litigation Committee.  Mr. Moss served on the NCBA’s Construction Law Section Council (2000-2003), as Treasurer (2003-04), as Secretary (2004-05), as Vice-Chair (2005-06), as Chair (2006-07), and as a member of the Board of Directors of the Mecklenburg County Bar (2001-2004).  Mr. Moss was an N.C.
